Gambling Block is a control that prevents or restricts access to gambling transactions, sites or apps at a bank, device or service level. Examples include card merchant-category blocks, payment restrictions and software that blocks gambling domains or applications. The mechanism can reduce access without necessarily closing a gambling account, and it is distinct from formal operator or jurisdiction-wide self-exclusion.
