The new rooms, located on the 49th and 50th floors of the hotel tower, are scheduled to become available to guests on September 1, 2026. This development is part of Circa’s original multiyear phased buildout, which reserved several floors for future growth when the property first opened in 2020.
Details of the Expansion
The upcoming “platinum floors” will feature a mix of upgraded standard king rooms, studio suites, and one-bedroom suites, with some offering the option to connect to a second room. According to the operator, these new floors will include enhanced finishes, new furnishings, and higher-end lighting and wall paneling compared to earlier phases. The expansion also introduces the Founders Entourage Suite, designed for larger groups, with two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a half-bath, a spacious living area, wet bar, and Murphy beds to accommodate up to 10 guests. These suites are intended to serve bachelor and bachelorette parties, family gatherings, and group events.
Market Context and Demand
The decision to complete these additional floors comes as Circa Hotel & Casino continues to experience strong weekend occupancy, with the operator reporting consistent sellouts over the past three years. The limited supply of hotel rooms in downtown Las Vegas has contributed to competition among casino hosts for available accommodations. The new rooms are expected to open ahead of the 2026 football season, a period that typically drives increased demand for hotel stays at sports-focused properties like Circa.
Phased Development and Remaining Capacity
When Circa Hotel & Casino launched in 2020, seven hotel floors were intentionally left unfinished to allow for future expansion based on market demand. Since then, the property has added four floors of standard rooms and is now moving forward with the two new platinum floors. After this phase, only one floor in the hotel tower will remain unfinished. The operator currently uses the 15th floor as overflow space during large events or as an indoor event venue, with no immediate plans announced for its full development.
